The Jungle of Death was awarded Best Photography at the Czech International AI Film Festival (CIAIFF) 2025.

The Jungle of Death is a psychological horror short film set in the infamous Darién Gap, a lawless and deadly stretch of jungle between Colombia and Panama, known as one of the most dangerous migration routes in the world.

The film follows a man who enters the Darién to find his mother. Lost for seven days in the jungle, he begins to lose his grip on reality as the forest reveals itself to be more than just a place; it is a living presence that watches, tests, and consumes those who enter. Blending realism with supernatural tension, the film explores grief, obsession, and the darkness of love under extreme conditions.
