Director Statement
We wanted to create a film about light — but not the perfect, dazzling kind. Ours comes from a shy and fragile source.
In real life, many people are trapped by their own imperfections: a pimple, a teasing comment, or a moment of being overlooked. Yet I want to look closer at that very act of lowering one’s head — because within it, there hides a faint, trembling, but truthful light.
“a little full” is a gentle reversal: the very things that make us feel ashamed may also be the light the world needs most. Light doesn’t have to be grand or pure. It can be clumsy, flawed, and quietly flickering in the dark — and still, it shines tenderly.
Those hidden, ignored, or mocked parts of us — the acne, the fat, the awkwardness — can, from a certain angle, transform into something luminous, something that brightens others. Most people are too busy concealing their flaws to realize this simple truth: the moon glows only because it is surrounded by darkness.
