Iris is a gifted young programmer who uses a wheelchair and lives a reclusive existence. One day, she is recruited into testing a cutting-edge device that hijacks the mind and induces vivid dreams. As she assesses a prototype that is as dangerous as it is revolutionary, Iris begins to blur the lines between reality and fiction. The dream machine allows her to experience a plethora of experiences, where not only she can walk — she can also fly. As she starts to develop an obsession with the device, Iris is forced to finally confront the reality of her physical condition.
