In a dystopian future, a lone man wakes up from cryogenic sleep in a decaying, futuristic environment. Guided by a mysterious scientist appearing through a video feed, he learns that an alien race has imprisoned humanity, leaving them as the only conscious survivors. Tasked with a suicidal mission to destroy the barrier trapping the planet, the man grapples with the weight of saving humanity, especially his family, who wait in cryo-stasis.
